Steven Swanson began his career in 2000 at Prudential Insurance Corporation with a firm commitment to the understanding that the basic principles of financial planning begins in areas that protect and build a foundation for success. From there, he then spent almost 16 years with JPMorgan Wealth Management working directly with clients on the relationships between budgeting and setting goals towards financial independence.
“I believe in a structured, four point process when building a comprehensive financial plan. First, analyze for understanding of one’s goals and objectives. Second, recommend the most prudent plan to work towards achieving those goals while managing volatility. Third, implementation. Put it to work. Fourth, review. Your financial situation is bound to change, I will work with you over time through periodic reviews to help you monitor the strategies in place, and the capacity to continuously pursue your goals.”
Since 2000, Steven has supported the growing needs of families and businesses in his local community in search of clarity and direction in the planning process. He has helped support that need by volunteering at Lockport’s St. Joseph Church. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, as well as Life and Variable Contracts Licenses.
Steven is a 2000 graduate for the University of St. Francis and has pursued additional graduate coursework at Lewis University. In keeping his dedication towards ongoing education, he is working towards his CRC and CFP® as well.
He and his wife Lisa, reside in Homer Glen, with their daughter Madison, and their son Vincent. They enjoy volunteering and supporting local charities, taking educational vacations, and exploring different cultures and history from around the world. In his spare time, Steven enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, coaching his children’s athletic teams, and doing crossfit with his wife and friends.
